Hello! I'm Travis. Thank you for stopping by!
I studied Psychology at UC Santa Barbara and later earned a Master's in Education from Seattle University, which led me to five years of teaching high school math. During that time, I engaged in creating different creative mediums to teach, and explored how students learn best—not just through explanation, but through play, curiosity, and well-designed experiences. I also love creating classroom cultures where mistakes are celebrated as essential steps in the learning process. Additionally, I often blended performance art magic into my lessons, turning abstract concepts into moments of surprise, laughter, and discovery.
Alongside teaching, I've spent over a decade performing magic professionally across the country. Magic has become a lifelong passion of mine, and even a lens as to how I view my relationships and life moments.
I'm currently seeking professional roles in education and learning & design. I also am continuing to pursue my life as a professional magician.
